Blake Lovely

Now I am a crazy obsessed Gossip Girl fan. I love everything about it, where they live, how they live and most importantly what they wear. The cast is filled with some of the most handsome and beautiful people in the world. In a previous post I chose to highlight my dream boat of a crush Mr Ed Westwick. Now I choose to focus on the ever evolving and ever more gorgeous Blake Lively.

Not only does Blake play Serina, the most idolised girl in Manhattan but she is quickly becoming the most idolised real life celebrity and fashion icon world wide! From beginning with her Chanel campaign and knocking any haters well and truly off their feet, Lively has continued to prove those critics wrong by becoming ever so Lovely!
Blake was proud to wear some of the most original and on trend outfits to hit the Gossip Girl scene. With quite possibly the most enviable hairstyle since "The Rachel" Gossip Girl was the opening scene to the rest of Blakes amazing life.

When Blake became the face of Chanel, every designer across the globe fought for her to be in their next campaign. For months Blake was draped in the finest Chanel clothes and accessories and brought the brand to life with the hip younger market, knowing that everybody wanted to be like Blake. Suddenly a transformation seemed to happen infront of our eyes. The make up and hair became more controlled and professional and Lively was never seen with a hair out of place.

Just when we thought we couldn't be more jealous of Miss Lively. She stepped out onto the streets with the once voted sexiest man on the planet Ryan Reynolds. The two are well and truly loved up and yes ladies...it seems like a keeper so our favorite man is off the market.

When everybody was ready to accept that Blake could not get any more lovely. She blew us all away at the premier of her new film Savages. 
Looking pretty much as perfect as any woman would want to look, Blake took to the red carpet looking a million dollars 

With her hair perfectly styled to work with her floor length Zuhair Murad gown to her premiere and her red lips kicking off the colour in her look Blake has well and truly transformed from her high school Serena Vanderwoodsen days into what can only be referred to as being
bloomin' Blake Lovely!

Next festive competition

So feelingstylish.co.uk is running a competition for us bloggers to create a Christmas window for Next. All you have to do is simply design your window using next products and submit your entry in a comment on the feelingstylish.co.uk blog. I have done my own entry (I will admit it is hard to create the window and make it look realistic so make sure you explain your concept) My window focuses on a pale colour scheme. It is extremely feminine and not obviously Christmas themed in the way that there is no red or gold to be seen! I chose to use the two glitter Christmas trees as features as they are adorable! I would actually have the fairy lights on the left wrapped through the branches of the trees for a more whimsical feel. I have then chosen two party dresses. Seeing as party season is all about the sparkle I chose to pale pink numbers both embellished beautifully with sequin. Money vs Style

As I sit here next to my best friend searching Amazon for a cheap pot of OPI muppets collection I can't help but wonder if having more money makes it easier to be more stylish?  Think about it..... Being a student means I am poor 99% of the time apart from my birthday or Christmas. Luckily for me it is my 21st birthday on Sunday and therefore had the luxury of having over 200 pounds to spend on of course clothes! Although I wanted my Mulberry Bayswater for my birthday I was EVEN more over joyed to unwrap my beautiful Michael Kors rose gold watch off my parents. (partly because it is extremely shiny) but mainly because this is the first truly expensive item I have really owned. The first thing I know I will keep for the rest of my life.  So does money make you more stylish? Look at celebrities, they are always the ones captured and photographed for the style pages of magazines, so why not photograph normal people?
