Happy (mid) November everyone! I have to apologise again, I seem to have slipped into my full time job mode again and haven't had the time to squeeze in blogging. I struggle sometimes to summon up the confidence to post, mainly because I'm in love with bloggers like Sophia Rosemary and Megan Ellaby   who are two of the BEST bloggers I have come across in a long time. I always think it's funny how the colour of your hair can have such a big impact on how a person looks. Women in particular assume that men prefer blonde hair. I think it's just an old assumption. I also think its quite a worrying sign that girls may sometimes change their hair for men. I have been guilty of this when I was younger and look back now and give my 17 year old self a good slap. In the past year I have been undergoing the most drastic hair change. When I was 17 I had my hair cut into a pixie cut....and I mean the most pixie of pixie cuts. Now I'll admit I've been a big fan of Alexa Chung since she first came onto the scene on Popworld. It was nice to see someone who could freely be a bit goofy and not care! Now, this is going to cause a flurry of people to have a go I'm sure but I haven't posted for a while and I think its because I've kind of lost interest in 99% of things that I had in my life a few months ago. In the last 12 months I have a dramatic change in my friends, my job (I actually have one I like) my living situation, my financial situation (thats got worse) but one thing that...for the first time in a long time I realised was that I was starting to be alright with myself. My week on Instagram has been a clear case of me suffering with my usual winter blues. I'm not going to go into the morbid details because I'm sure everybody knows someone who does NOT cope in winter. We are the Olafs of the world, we are made for light mornings and sunsets at 10pm not rainy walks to work and pitch black skies at 3 in the afternoon. So I think nowadays it is safe to say that a lot of girls are guilty of dressing for guys. I live in Cardiff and I can safely say that 80% of girls on a night out look like clones. The only thing that differs slightly is their height and the drinks they're holding in their hands....that and the guys that they have their 'enhanced' lips latched onto. The curse of the body con is my major pet peeve in the Fashion world. Yes celebrities like VB and Cheryl Cole pull off the body con because they're dresses cost more than the average persons monthly wage.
