2017 lets do this.

Im well aware that its been 2017 for 6 entire days but I work in retail and for retail workers this is our down time. We FINALLY get to have a bit of a breather after the festive season. So my newer post is coming now, all be it I was off work ill the week running up to Christmas but MY GOD I was so rough, if anyone is dealing with this disgusting viral/infectious/gross illness going round you will understand. But I thought I would cough up my usual new year post by breaking down what I want to do in 2017. I feel like 2016 was a bit of a blah year for me. Not in a bad way just in a....well nothing happened way. I spent two years focusing on getting my mental health on track and have finally succeeded with being happy and...well calm to be perfectly honest. So 2016 was kind of a "lets not rock the boat" year. Anyone that knows me knows that I'm that annoying person that is NEVER happy. Not never grateful, or never thankful but I always want more. I am always str...

Hooray for a cliche

Happy 2016! Nothing screams New Year like a classic cliche....and thanks to Pinterest and my love for all things cute and cheesy, these New Year cliches are at the top of my list! So what does the New Year mean? Well I mean right now I am watching Gossip Girl eating left over chocolate, wallowing in the fact that the most miserable month of the year is upon us. BUT apart from that...A New Year means you can once again try to focus as hard as you can on doing things you didn't manage to do last year. So now we are 3 days into the year...what are your plans? Mine? Mine are the most realistic I think they have ever been, now I am over the idea that I will win the lottery and Ed Westwick will knock on my door and propose to me are becoming a little more unrealistic I have decided to focus on 5 MUST DO points for my year. 1.  I kind of have a bad habit for letting anyone and everyone make me feel like crap with just a couple of words. So this year I am g...

This is the year

As cliche as this is I feel like it's only right to create a New Years post. So what is it that 2015 can bring that makes it any different from any other year? Well...we don't know do we? But I can safely say that I am kind of glad to see the back of 2014. Don't get me wrong it was a good year, I graduated, I moved into a lovely flat with my best friend (eventually) for the first time in a long time my family were mostly healthy however it did also bring the shock of graduating and the stresses of full time adult life that I don't think any graduate no matter how old or young is ever quite ready for. Me and my house mate are very similar, thankfully thats why we get on so well. We both have the same bad habit for moaning about everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Granted I am the queen of cynicism and she is a lot more laid back than me but we are pretty much the epitome of Minnie Moaners! So 2015...what can we stop or start doing to make this year a breeze?  ...

New Year is upon us

Firstly I'M BACK! The blogging front has been a little quiet lately due to jobs and moving flats! Post uni life takes a little time to wrap your head around! Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone had a lovely few days. BOOO to being back at work hey? Welcome back to the world of retail, angry shoppers central today! Don't get me wrong I love shopping more than anything but give it a break people! So I hope everybody got what they wanted for Christmas?! I was super lucky and got stocked up on Vivienne Westwood again, a beautiful ring and a surprise present of a new bag! <3 Me and Viv are well and truly loved up! So New Year is the next big thing now and I thought I would put together some of my favourite looks I have come across in the past few weeks that would be perfect for an ice cold night out! I have to admit I'm not really one for New Year but I am one for pretty clothes! Whistles French Connection   ASOS The W...

New Year

Now I know that everybody makes new years resolutions (and very rarely sticks to them) but this year I think times will change. For me this year has been my first really different year, I've obviously had major changes in my life over the last 3 years but since I moved to Cardiff I think it's safe to say things are falling into place! If I could ever tell people one thing it would be that you have to try things to know if you like them or not. Put it this way, the 19 year old me who toddled off to Manchester thinking I was going to love it and fall straight into a high flying fashion job was SO wrong. As a whole I love Manchester and feel like I could live there easily now, but three years ago it was a different story. I cried literally every minute of everyday and only realised how bad I was when I heard someone saying"Lucy? Is that the blonde one that cries all the time?" Now you don't want to be that girl do you? On the plus side I did make some good friend...
