Platfform 13

So it is finally the time to show everybody the new Platfform magazine. As part of our uni course, 8 of us girls were chosen to work creating the new edition of the unis fashion magazine. This year we wanted the magazine to focus on everything fun (and at some points close to the line) making people in industry level par with the people studying fashion.

After four months of extreme stress and eating more than 8 fashion girls should humanly be able to eat, yesterday was the day that we finally got to see our work come together.

I was lucky enough to have the role of Deputy Editor and pretty much loved every second of it (apart from the insane weight gain)

We were also proud to announce that this year we created the magazine on glossy paper which was a huge step up from previous years where the magazine was printed on newspaper. Seeing our little glossy baby coming out of the boxes yesterday made every moment of stress and panic worth it.

This cheesy face shows how excited I was.

Cara Delevingne

Well this week has proven to be a bit of a bump in the road for our favourite model hasn't it? With the 'White powder' incident causing a stir, our punk princess Cara has flung herself back into celebrity life by tweeting pictures of herself snogging Sienna and getting tattoos.

So what is it exactly that makes us love Cara so much?

The fact that someone can pull off eyebrows THAT big?
The fact she managed to bag Harry Styles?
Or the fact that she is just actually really cool.

Cheesy I know but oh my god I would love to be Cara!!

I am currently sat here swamped in Gossip and fashion magazines as I accidentally picked up every single new magazine with her on the front (oopsie) So with the new drug scandal, could this make any difference with Cara's career? With the Kate Moss snorting and the endless amount of times Naomi Campbell has thrown a mobile or hit a cleaner, could this be the moment we see our Burberry Princess turn to the dark side?

What I don't get is why …

Funky Punk

This years Met Gala saw a whole new take on themes and dresses. With the chosen theme being "Punk" it was decided that the museum would be transformed into all think rock and roll to show how the creation and development of Punk has influenced fashion. I mean we all know that Debbie Harry and her punk friends had an influence but I thought it was AMAZING to see how some of the worlds most stylish celebrities took the idea when it came to their dresses.

There was one person who stood out miles for me (but i'll keep that until last) There was also one designer/store that stood out a mile with their designs. So instead of showing you all the pictures that you have probably already seen I am going to focus on three of the most amazing, hand made dresses of the night.

Topshop being the love of my life anyway, just sent me over the edge by creating these AMAZING hand crafted gowns for the Met Gala. Nicole Richie, Ashley Madekwe, Jourdan Dunn, Jaime King and Julianne Hough all …
