Get it girls

Image
I'm currently sat in decent sunshine (as in I live in Cardiff and I'm sat outside with no jacket on) wandering how long our 'Ibiza' weather is actually going to last. I'm one of those typical people who loves summer clothes but hates wearing them. When I saw that it was actually meant to be hot this week the first thing I did was message my friend in a panic over completely NOT being ready to bare anything but my wrists. Now though I am finally able to wear my Archive by Alexa dress with nothing over it. If you've seen the Elsie dress you'll understand that the sleeves kind of make it. So I can deal with that. It's every womans fear when we have to get our legs out, when its slightly unbearable to have skinny jeans or any denier of tights on...we have to groom, tan, shave amounts of our legs that we haven't had to shave for a good few months. But its happening. God its happening. So whilst sat with a coffee and listening to my new favour...

Believe it or not my outfit has nothing to do with you

Image
With so many 'celebrities' acting as our style muses at the minute I think it's difficult for a girl to know how she should dress. But when you think about it more why are there actually any rules? Don't get me wrong I understand that girls can be bitchy and can pick apart another girls outfit within 30 seconds of catching a glimpse. But when you think about it some of us (myself) have loved clothes since we were young enough to steal our mums heels and play dress up by making a dress out of our duvet covers and if you're like me your love for fashion hasn't faltered since. I have spent 3 years studying Fashion and 9 years working various different retail jobs just as an excuse to be around clothes before I finally crack my dream job.  The Fashion Industry is one of the hardest to crack. We all know it.  It's long hours, hard work and we get told that we WILL NOT reach our dream job until we are well past 30. We do however get told to embr...

Flirt with the sweatshirt

Image
With this god awful weather hitting us, it is impossible to get the courage up to go outside and face a battering of pouring rain and gale force winds but high street and our beloved online stores are making it that little bit more appealing by making it ok to wear sweats. Now don't get me wrong, by sweats I mean sweatshirts...I am still a strong believer of the fact that sweat pants are a sign of defeat when compared to other REAL clothing. However, the sweatshirt trend is proving to be very nice indeed! With cheeky slogan, cropped fits and every colour you could think of here are my top picks of the best sweetest sweats around. Motel stock this Made in Hell sweat for £60 - Remember Motel are  amazing for student discounts Topshop stock the brand And Finally who created this  Sgt Peppers sweat H&M's trend collection (which I love) stock this over sized sweatshirt  which is a bargain at £24.99 River Island also stock this girly s...

As hot as the scotts

Image
So today is worthy of a post as I have been over whelmed with the amount of people who have put their tights back on! Now I love summer and I am pretty sure I was meant to be a life guard (in Spain where they just seem to sunbathe all day) or even one of the hyper ladies that run around on the beach trying to sell pineapples? But I did give a little cheer today when I put my tights on. If you read my blog you know I am SO against body con, it is and always will be (in my opinion) the worst invention when it comes to fashion (after white linen trousers) so when the time comes to whip out the chunky knit jumpers and skinny jeans I LOVE it! This season two of my all time favourite trends are hitting the high street and catwalks. Leather and Tartan. Now leather is never going to go out of fashion as every girl should own a classic black leather jacket. But the tartan trend is taking over, with a hint of back to school and teamed with a peter pan collar they create the perfect look! ...

Blog Sale

Ok so Christmas is slowly creeping up and I have done zero shopping because I am SO poor, so the time has come for me to part ways with some of my beloved clothes. *Boo* I take too long to choose too many things so I'm going to start by putting just a few things up. If anybody is interested in anything I post just leave a comment on the post or email me! I can only take payment through paypal just because it's a lot easier than any other way! This dress is from the Apricot collection in Debenhams. I think I have put it on one and not actually worn it.It's perfect for Christmas with all the sparkles! You would have to wear tights with it because it is quite short but it is in really good condition! It's a size M/L so around a 10-12 I would say just because it is quite tight fitting! £25 (Sorry about the excessive striped on this) This is such a cute shirt from New Look. again I think i've worn it once at the most. I love this but I just don...

Must Wear Fur (Faux of course)

Image
As winter is darkly creeping in I think it's about time that I dig out my beautiful fur coat and convince everybody else to do the same. My brother brought me my first fur coat as a moving out present, it was the first fur (I will point out it's fake again) I had ever worn and fell in love straight away! So I am spreading the love! Even though different styles of coat come and go through the seasons, it is the fur coat (alongside the black leather jacket) that will ALWAYS remain as staple pieces of every girls wardrobe. So knock yourself out with this list of my must have fur! River Island Asos  - This is amazing for something a bit different! Asos  also have this stunning leopard print number! If you don't feel brave enough to go all fur then try these fur lined coats from  Topshop Boohoo  never fail to offer up some of the most reasonably priced coats of the season!  http://tidd.ly/e5e1ab88 Don't forget that every high ...
