Truly British

Image
As the jubilee approaches it seems right to keep everything from our wardrobe to our beauty accessories truly British. Streets and shops are decorated with bunting and flags so let's take a look how we can all rock a bit of the jubilee chic ready for next weekend! Although not as British as it originally was, ladies and gents we should all be well and truly sporting a piece of Mulberry arm candy for the weekend, the once completely British brand has been responsible and made famous for creating some of the most traditional and beautiful leather bags. If there was any prime time to invest in some nail art treats, this week is the time! Grab your red, white and blue nail varnish and add your details with a white nail art pen and you have the jubilee all over your hands! Beautifully British Burberry, another must have for the celebrations. Ladies get your red lipstick on and show  how you can sport the great British colours in any way! Use a light  layer for daytime

Best of the Baftas

Image
So the Baftas were held last night and there were some amazing celeb outfits! With stars from tv and reality shows such as Made in Chelsea and Sherlock, the red carpet was graced with the most gorgeous celebs! I of course had my firm favourties. Complete queen and fashion star of the night was Made in Chelseas Millie. She stood out a mile wearing her white Lanvin dress. With the perfect amount of tan and make up, Pro greens girl sure knows how to rock the red carpet.  Holly Willoughby once again looked like a princess in her Jenny Packham gown. After her black mesh dress mistake on the voice a few weeks ago, this made up for it. Towie star Lydia Bright made an entrance in her floor length Amnesty gown. Her hair and make up looked amazing! Emilia Fox chose to go nude for the red carpet. Wearing quite a different combination of skirt and top. The risk paid off as she looked stunning. When it came down to the men of the night there was one and only one who

Christian Louboutin - 20 years of design

Image
Christian Louboutin is one of the most recognisable designers in the world. Not only because of his unique background story and his brilliant work ethic, but because of the true genius that is behind every pair of his red soled shoes. Anybody that walks down the street graced with a pair of Louboutins walks with a certain sense of ease and confidence. This confidence comes straight from Louboutins ideas and passion for his designs. Now after twenty years of breath taking designs, an exhibition is being held in London design museum to celebrate the sketches and designs from twenty years ago to today. Yesterday I was lucky enough to visit this exhibition.  Immediatly graced with the quirky Louboutin installation outside it was a certain that the magic inside was going to be amazing.  As you walked up the stairs into the exhibition a wall was covered with the red soles of his designs, darkened rooms were filled with perfectly placed lights beautifully highlighting the aray

The best of the Met

Image
The Met ball brings together the most stylish and glamorous names in fashion. Last night did not fail to impress as some of the most beautiful dresses were worn down the red carpet. Beyonce looked breath taking in this haute couture Givenchy bejeweled gown, rocking her post baby body. Diane Kruger looked stunning donned in this bold and bright Prada gown. One of my personal favourites. The always sexy Scarlett Johanson was show stopping in this amazing gown by Dolce and Gabanna. Marchesa never fail to make the most astonishingly stunning dresses for these fashion focused occasions. Leighton Meester looked golden in this beautiful creation. Her make up is also flawless! Another one of my personal favourites. The queen of fashion herself. Anna Wintour caused a positively brilliant reaction when she graced the red carpet wearing her lobster encrusted Prada gown draped with her white fur shawl.  Camilla Belle looked stunning in her metallic Calvin Klein design.

Can we still be friends?

Image
Ok so Alexandra Shulman has the best job in the world yes? Yes of course she does...being the editor of British Vogue is every fashion lovers dream. Her days are spent learning about and loving fashion, picking out what she feels is the best in the fashion world to help us worshiping fashionistas keep up to date. She is a genius. A multi tasker and a multi talent. After being lucky enough to witness the huge success she created organising Vogue Festival and being able to see how truly admired by her peers she is I was desperate to read her new book. "Can we still be friends" Unlike many other names in the fashion world who write books, this amazing read is nothing to do with fashion. It is not Alexandra Shulman telling a story of her life or aiding people into the fashion industry. No. It is a truly heart felt beautiful read about the ups and downs in a girls friendships. It is a story that every woman of any age will read and adore. Every girl who has had the drama

We want to be Rosie

Image
Rosie Huntington - Whiteley had seemed to dissapear for a brief amount of time over the last few months. Now however she is back with style avengence! Gracing every magazines best dressed list and strutting her pretty stuff down the streets of London. What we would give to be Rosie! This Stella McCartney is one of Rosies biggest fashion successes. Simple and chic she creates a look that Stella would be proud of! Rocking red at the Oscars this year she also stole the crowds attention gracing the carpet. And finally at this years Coachella Rosie made one of her biggest and most reported about fashion statements of the year. With her short short and crisp white shirt, the natural beauty managed to make every festival and non festival gooer jealous! xoxo
