Brunettes have more fun

I always think it's funny how the colour of your hair can have such a big impact on how a person looks. Women in particular assume that men prefer blonde hair. I think it's just an old assumption. I also think its quite a worrying sign that girls may sometimes change their hair for men. I have been guilty of this when I was younger and look back now and give my 17 year old self a good slap. In the past year I have been undergoing the most drastic hair change. When I was 17 I had my hair cut into a pixie cut....and I mean the most pixie of pixie cuts. Most people I knew were a little bit in shock the initial comments were "Aren't you worried you'll look like a boy?" "But how will you tie it up?" or "Oh my god I could never do that" Well I never did it with the intention of other people doing it with me. It was bleach blonde and really short...really short. My week on Instagram has been a clear case of me suffering with my usual winter blues. But my week of ME was my aim to make myself feel a little more human. So; Day One : The Binge and Preparation stage - Aim to collect everything needed for the following few days. There is probably no need to explain this image and yes that is one giant BAR of Reese...

With so many 'celebrities' acting as our style muses at the minute I think it's difficult for a girl to know how she should dress. But when you think about it more why are there actually any rules? Don't get me wrong I understand that girls can be bitchy and can pick apart another girls outfit within 30 seconds of catching a glimpse. But when you think about it some of us (myself) have loved clothes since we were young enough to steal our mums heels and play dress up by making a dress out of our duvet covers and if you're like me your love for fashion hasn't faltered since. I have spent 3 years studying Fashion and 9 years working various different retail jobs just as an excuse to be around clothes before I finally crack my dream job.  The Fashion Industry is one of the hardest to crack. We all know it.  It's long hours, hard work and we get told that we WILL NOT reach our dream job until we are well past 30. We do however get told to embr...
