"It's the most ...... time of the year"

Ok so Christmas is round the corner. Therefore the emotional rollercoaster of the festive season is upon us? Why an emotional rollercoaster I hear you ask? WELL. Our whole year runs up to Christmas, we start in January by thinking...at least I have pretty much 12 months to save for Christmas because last year wiped me out! (Of course by the time January Sales hit we are all majorly poor again anyway) but hey its the thought that counts! Now I love Christmas, I am a die hard lover of opening presents, people seem to find it odd but I actually enjoy the physical opening not necessarily the gift inside, weird I know but thats what I also blame my ridiculous addiction to ASOS on so.... The only issue I have with Christmas is that it just appears! One minute people are stressing about Halloween costumes then the next morning you wake up and your street is filled with multicoloured light and people are in work demanding gift recipes and gift wrapping (gift wrapping by the wa...

Firstly I'M BACK! The blogging front has been a little quiet lately due to jobs and moving flats! Post uni life takes a little time to wrap your head around! Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone had a lovely few days. BOOO to being back at work hey? Welcome back to the world of retail, angry shoppers central today! Don't get me wrong I love shopping more than anything but give it a break people! So I hope everybody got what they wanted for Christmas?! I was super lucky and got stocked up on Vivienne Westwood again, a beautiful ring and a surprise present of a new bag! <3 Me and Viv are well and truly loved up! So New Year is the next big thing now and I thought I would put together some of my favourite looks I have come across in the past few weeks that would be perfect for an ice cold night out! I have to admit I'm not really one for New Year but I am one for pretty clothes! Whistles French Connection   ASOS The W...

Have a DIY Christmas

As Christmas approaches, life as a student hits panic mode (as in  OH MY GOD I HAVE NO MONEY) and the weeks seem to fly by as your time passes with 'how many weeks do I have left until my dissertation  is due in' It is a tad tricky to think of effective christmas treats. In our girly student house we have decided to make each other home made advent calendars. I will warn you now, if you decide to do this it may sound like a better idea that it works out to be. With a £20 budget and 25 days to fill some serious research needed to go into finding a way of making presents for each day that are....well rubbish. So of course I hit Pinterest.  If you don't have the funds to be able to add a gift for everyday, follow this example and fill your advent calendar with little notes or recipes.  For the crafty types, get out your sewing machine and rustle up some cute little santa hats or stockings as holders for your treats. For a cute vintage lookin...

The least fashionable Christmas yet....

As much as this will strike fear into the hearts of many people, Christmas is coming. It's official I just watched the coca cola Christmas advert and Ant and Dec are chasing round a gingerbread man for Morissons (Yes true signs of Crimbo) So as the festive season approaches, what is it that everyone is thinking about? Not ordering a turkey that weighs more than a large dog, not writing lists of presents to buy your great great aunty who you think you're related to via marriage, not even what you are going to buy your pets (we all do it) But what we are thinking about is the ultimate Christmas jumper. So prepare yourselves as I have found some of the best cheesy jumpers around. (Sorry Jess I had to) Boohoo sells this...different jumper for £18 Boohoo John Lewis Asos River Island There you go, I question if high street stores can get any cheesier and it is BRILLIANT. So get your friends together or collect all the cheesy jumpers you ca...
