Homeboy wore combat boots to the beach

"Homeboy wore combat boots to the beach" might be one of the most memorable from every 20 something year old girls teenage life. We all fancied Justin Bobby and we all secretly wanted to be Audrina riding on the back of his motorbike with our own flowery helmet...or was that just me? Either way time has past since then and its becoming clear that it really doesn't matter that JB wore his trusty combat boots to the beach...why you ask? Well I am an avid believer in ugly clothes.  Yes. The uglier the better. I have one of those wardrobes where people will text me saying "Oh my god I've found a top you would love" and it will most likely consist of one or more of my 5 must haves: 1. Denim 2. Ruffles 3. High neck 4. Leopard Print 5. And any form of short skirt. Even one of my friends Dads has turned round to her before now and said "That's a very Lucy dress" What can I say. Ugly clothes are the best. So quite frankly if JB...

"If girls dressed for guys we would just walk around naked"

So I think nowadays it is safe to say that a lot of girls are guilty of dressing for guys. I live in Cardiff and I can safely say that 80% of girls on a night out look like clones. The only thing that differs slightly is their height and the drinks they're holding in their hands....that and the guys that they have their 'enhanced' lips latched onto. The curse of the body con is my major pet peeve in the Fashion world. Yes celebrities like VB and Cheryl Cole pull off the body con because they're dresses cost more than the average persons monthly wage. However when it is a £5 jersey dress wrapped around a drunk girl it isn't quite the same. Now I know I am sat writing this with a pixie cut in a skirt that no guy would ever think is nice, but thats because I don't really care if guys like my clothes. Having been approached on a night out around Christmas and being asked "Are you a lesbian?" "No why?" "Well you know...you've got ...

So as you will probably know if you read my blog....or if you know me, I am slightly obsessed with Pinterest. I LOVE this website and it is actually the source of an awful lot of my work and style inspiration so  I thought I would post some more of my favorite pins from the last few weeks and make sure more of you get pinning! I'm a sucker for a good quote and some of the stunning words on Pinterest are beautiful! Another board of mine that I am constantly adding to is my "Ultimate Icons" board filled with everybody I take inspiration from. I even pin pictures of things from cute puppies to tattoos and it was using Pinterest that inspired my tattoo, which thankfully has been one of the best things I have ever had! So even if you are browsing around and find a completely random picture you love PIN IT!  (I don't know what this is but it seems cool..so it's pinned) It is actually pinned onto a board originally named...

To crop or not to crop?

Ok so I know that there are not many celebrity women who willingly have their hair cut short. Majority of the drastic hair cuts are down to roles or parts that they have to fill for their careers. Natalie Portman shaved her hair, Cameron Diaz....endless amounts of beautiful stars sacrifice their hair for their jobs. However, there are a select few who choose to have their hair short. I had previously read an article where Michelle Williams had admitted to having her hair cut short because "Straight men hate women with short hair" This was as a memorial to her former partner Heath Ledger as he was (apparently) the only male she knew that loved women with short hair. In my opinion (as a pixie cut wearer) short hair is a brave move, it took me at least a year and numerous pictures to finally make the move and have the mop chop. And now? I would never go back. Sienna Miller, granted her main reason for cutting her boho locks was for her role as Edie Sedgwick in Fact...
