Style gets Luce.

Ok ladies and probably majority of gents. Brace yourselves because my oh my do I have a treat for us all. I feel it would be wrong not to write a post about this because I know both men and woman across the world oggle over David Beckham. Yes it may be in a different mixture of ways but hey....the guy is incredible. What is also lovely about Mr Golden Balls is that he is still loyal to creating his lines for H&M. It is all too familiar nowadays to see a celebrity do one line for a store, get kind of bored and move on but Beckham has stuck at it and once again has come through adding a collection of essentials to his collection. We can now see him promoting crisp white shirts, tailored trousers and simple polos.  I mean I don't have a boyfriend or a male in my life that I would buy Beckhams tighty whities for but I can quite happily stand in front of the posters in the store windows and youtube the advert can't I? Hi guys, so I realised lately that not a lot of fashion blogs take into account the poor guys out there, lost in fashion world. It's easy enough for us girls to log onto each other blogs or instagrams or simply chat about what we should wear. But what about the guys? Now I have a lot of male friends but don;t ever go clothes shopping with them, purely because men and shopping never mix well in my eyes. It's been years since I've had a boyfriend and if I take my dad shopping I end up suggesting clothes that I think would work on a 22 year old not a 50 year old. So I have decided to give the confused style guys of the world some tips. Many may think girls don't know how to dress guys but believe me, I spend equally as much time looking at men's style as I do women's. There is something about men's style that interests me. Designers such as Stella McCartney focus on using male tailoring in her designs creating some of the most beautiful blazers and jackets...

The use of advertising is a big thing within the world of fashion. If anything it is most important for fashion designers and companies to advertise effectively to sell their work to the right market. So this got me thinking what is it that makes a good advert? Do people want weird and quirky? Straight to the point and bold? Words? Music? What is it that people like to watch? It is both print ad campaigns and TV advertising that helps to promote a brand. So I have come up with a few of my favourites, see if you agree? The Kooples have one of my favourite print ads, the use couples with obvious style and obvious flare but capture the adverts in a way that are hard to ignore. An advert that completely reflects the type of brand that The Kooples is. They have also just introduced Pete Doherty  into their new campaign, risky but I love it!
