1. It's Sunday and all you want to do is shop BUT it's raining and you live a mile from town. 2. But you remember a magical place someone told you about. 3. ASOS 4. Oh the joys. There are not many things that I can say I'm good at in life. I can cook but I'm not chef, I can bake but I'm no Mary Berry...I can't do ANYTHING that involves DIY and my general knowledge is pretty mortifying (just ask my Dad) but there is one thing that I know for sure I am good at. The one thing that has been my life since a toddler who cried over my mum throwing away my gingham shoes. I am good at Fashion. Don't get me wrong I'm not claiming to be stylish or someone that should be gracing the pages of Vogue but.... I am good and I think this skill comes more from an obsession than a talent. Because boy oh boy can I shop. I am obsessed with finding things that other people deem 'weird' or 'unusual' and fixing them together to make outfits. I only shop in your bog standard shops but since living in Cardiff I've kind of realised that it's nice to be a bit different. Now it's all well and good being a dedicated shopper but...

So although I may not be a student any more, I appreciate that many freshers this year (as well as all other years) will be looking forward to loan day. I also know that when you start uni you hit a major identity crisis. When hitting this wall whats a girl to do? Well...you could go through one of those weird phases that you see people having where they dress up as a cat for a week or shave their head. Well well well....I personally have never been THAT much of an Urban Outfitters fan. Yes they're good for stocking up on pretty coffee table books and the occasional collared dress (which I'm always a fan of) but I am definitely not a fan of anything 'Urban renewal' or denim shorts that show half of your bum cheek when you're walking around. Urban seems to try to hard to not try hard. Now just to add fuel to the fire Urban have gone and released a t-shirt which is being viewed as being completely for eating disorders. I know that it is a dramatic reaction to the release of a top but the stores "Eat Less' has caused a riot across the world of celebrities and eating disorder charities. Sophie Bush has also declared war on the store saying that she will no longer buy clothes from them and urging people to donate money that they would have spent in store to charity. Dahlia is the epitome of quirky girliness, created by Tracy and her sister, the girls began by making designs and selling them in Portabello and Spitafields markets.  Unlike anything else around, you cannot be surprised that the clothing blew up when it was spotted and fallen in love with by fashion loving girls.  Now my personal style can only be described as geeky school girl (hence why I am constantly asked if I am a child or not....I'm nearly 24 ps.) Well it's been a while! Apologies for my lack of blogging over the last few months I have been rushed off my feet. I am about a month away from finishing uni forever (therefore have been in a state of growing up panic) and have been trying to get my Final Major Project done for the last three months. I decided to give myself a stupid amount of work to do using programmes and techniques that I have NO idea how to use...hence the needing maximum brain capacity and taking a step away from blogging.
