Flirt with the sweatshirt

Image
With this god awful weather hitting us, it is impossible to get the courage up to go outside and face a battering of pouring rain and gale force winds but high street and our beloved online stores are making it that little bit more appealing by making it ok to wear sweats. Now don't get me wrong, by sweats I mean sweatshirts...I am still a strong believer of the fact that sweat pants are a sign of defeat when compared to other REAL clothing. However, the sweatshirt trend is proving to be very nice indeed! With cheeky slogan, cropped fits and every colour you could think of here are my top picks of the best sweetest sweats around. Motel stock this Made in Hell sweat for £60 - Remember Motel are  amazing for student discounts Topshop stock the brand And Finally who created this  Sgt Peppers sweat H&M's trend collection (which I love) stock this over sized sweatshirt  which is a bargain at £24.99 River Island also stock this girly s...

The least fashionable Christmas yet....

Image
As much as this will strike fear into the hearts of many people, Christmas is coming. It's official I just watched the coca cola Christmas advert and Ant and Dec are chasing round a gingerbread man for Morissons (Yes true signs of Crimbo) So as the festive season approaches, what is it that everyone is thinking about? Not ordering a turkey that weighs more than a large dog, not writing lists of presents to buy your great great aunty who you think you're related to via marriage, not even what you are going to buy your pets (we all do it) But what we are thinking about is the ultimate Christmas jumper. So prepare yourselves as I have found some of the best cheesy jumpers around. (Sorry Jess I had to) Boohoo sells this...different jumper for £18 Boohoo John Lewis Asos River Island There you go, I question if high street stores can get any cheesier and it is BRILLIANT. So get your friends together or collect all the cheesy jumpers you ca...

Rihanna for River Island

Image
I must admit when I watched her LFW show I was far from impressed with Rihannas collection for River Island. I thought it was a little bit too "Rude Boy" for the high street BUT I will admit that now it has been released and I can view it through the eyes of the normal consumer, I actually quite like it. Looking at the images of Rihanna wearing her designs, I did start to worry that maybe the looks would be purely for the more hipster people out there who can pull off the baggy jean and high top combo. However even Rihanna herself toned down her look when she was promoting her line in London. I applaud you Ri Ri! Although it is not my personal style I can imagine walking past people on the street and thinking "Ooh I love that outfit" So below are some of my best picks from her swanky new collection for you to "Shine bright like a diamond" in (bad joke). I love these, strike what I said before I would wear these! This has Rihanna wr...

Must Wear Fur (Faux of course)

Image
As winter is darkly creeping in I think it's about time that I dig out my beautiful fur coat and convince everybody else to do the same. My brother brought me my first fur coat as a moving out present, it was the first fur (I will point out it's fake again) I had ever worn and fell in love straight away! So I am spreading the love! Even though different styles of coat come and go through the seasons, it is the fur coat (alongside the black leather jacket) that will ALWAYS remain as staple pieces of every girls wardrobe. So knock yourself out with this list of my must have fur! River Island Asos  - This is amazing for something a bit different! Asos  also have this stunning leopard print number! If you don't feel brave enough to go all fur then try these fur lined coats from  Topshop Boohoo  never fail to offer up some of the most reasonably priced coats of the season!  http://tidd.ly/e5e1ab88 Don't forget that every high ...

Gossip Guy

Image
Ok so yesterday I spent the day shopping with my G.B.F (Gay best friend) who I hadn't seen for a while since I have been at home over the summer. He now works in River Island and we went in to pick some of his new work wardrobe. Oh my god, I was in LOVE with pretty much every item of mens clothing in there! All of a sudden River Island seem to have had a huge fashion overhaul!  When I think of mens style, especially in the celebrity world there are really only a few guys that stand out to me as having great style. David Beckham (as always), Henry Holland (for the geek chic) and most of all Ed Westwick. Ed Westwick plays the edible Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl and his transition from suited up Chuck to rocking and edgy Westwick is pretty incredible.  So I am going to pick some of the best looks from Westwicks wardrobe and my favorite picks from River Island for the guys to use. His statement pieces in his daytime wardrobe consist of numerous band t-shirts and trilbi...

Mollie King - Style Queen!

Image
Mollie King (and her Saturdays band mates) are slowly becoming the most stylish girl band in the world. As they are strutting their stylish stuff in LA at the moment they are soon to take over the world of fashion. Although I love all of The Saturdays, my favorite fashionista member has always been Miss Mollie King. She literally rocks her style from her blonde locks to her killer heels. Even when she's travelling or in airports she always manages to look amazing. So amazing in fact she has dates David Ghandy (cue the swooning ladies) so I have chosen some of my favorite Mollie looks and hunted down where you can find them! This LA sunshine look is adorable! All in white Mollie looks chic as always. After having a bag named after her by Aspinal of London Mollie always makes sure she has the arm candy on. If you love the classic leather bags like Mollie then start your search here for a look at the entire range - http://tidd.ly/d1bc8d50 Find her shirt at French connection ...
