Style gets Luce.

1. It's Sunday and all you want to do is shop BUT it's raining and you live a mile from town. 2. But you remember a magical place someone told you about. 3. ASOS 4. Oh the joys. It's like being in a dream. 5. But wait...I have no money. 6. But then again it's only two weeks until payday. 7. But what about food? 8.  DUH 9. But Nutella is food. 10. No no I can do this. I can sacrifice solids for the sake of a dress. 11. HOLD THE PHONE NEW SEASON. 12. Wow...I didn't realise flares were ok. 13. Oh they're not. Phew. 14. You know what just a quick flick through shoes won't hurt anyone. 15. Come on, I haven't treated myself to shoes for at least a month. 16. These are only £20 17.  18. There are not many things that I can say I'm good at in life. I can cook but I'm not chef, I can bake but I'm no Mary Berry...I can't do ANYTHING that involves DIY and my general knowledge is pretty mortifying (just ask my Dad) but there is one thing that I know for sure I am good at. The one thing that has been my life since a toddler who cried over my mum throwing away my gingham shoes. I am good at Fashion. Don't get me wrong I'm not claiming to be stylish or someone that should be gracing the pages of Vogue but.... I am good and I think this skill comes more from an obsession than a talent. Because boy oh boy can I shop. I am obsessed with finding things that other people deem 'weird' or 'unusual' and fixing them together to make outfits. I only shop in your bog standard shops but since living in Cardiff I've kind of realised that it's nice to be a bit different. Now it's all well and good being a dedicated shopper but...

So we get one hot week a year, this doesn't guarantee it's actually sunny but it does mean that we can at least bask in temperatures of 18 degrees. Even though we spend majority of our year waiting for these hot days, when they come round there are some standard things that every person will see. No matter where you live. 1.  Socks and Sandals. Men, women, children NO. There has never been and will never be a reason to wear this combination.  2. EVERYONE will suddenly love ice-cream, because although it is sold 365 days a year, people seem to think they can only eat it in the sun. 3. People moan its too hot. We've waited for this for 11 months but people moan. 4. Then it briefly cools down and.....people moan. 5. THAT person that thinks the sun won't burn in England. 6. Womens hair. ITS THE HUMIDITY!! 7.
